Some weeks ago I talked about the Rowan Aran family and today I want to introduce some designs for the coolest Aran: Hemp Tweed.
Lisa Richardson designed 14 garments using Hemp Tweed for both men and women.
This tank top with a deep v-neck is showing a slip-stitch pattern in 4 different shades of Rowan Hemp Tweed.
Suffolk is a mens round-neck sweater, showing a textured pattern on both front and back. The raglan sleeves are knitted in stockinette stitch.
Eriskay is showing traveling cables on a background of moss-stitch. This cardigan has set-in sleeves and a perfect collar.
Connemara is a wrap, which is showing a slip-stitch pattern using 2 shades of Rowan Hemp Tweed.
This cardigan is showing a intarsia cable on both front and back. The sleeves are knitted in a rib-pattern.
Dales is a round-neck sweater showing a textured slip-stitch and cable pattern. It has full-length set-in sleeves.
Dartmoor is a neck sweater showing cables on a background of double-moss-stitch on all pieces.
This design is a hooded waistcoat showing a stunning all-over cable pattern.
Shire is a mens round neck sweater with raglan sleeves. It is showing a fair-isle pattern in two shades of Rowan Hemp Tweed across the chest and sleeves.
This raglan sweater is knitted in fishersmans rib and has an oversized roll-neck collar.
Welara is a mens v-neck cardigan with stripes in 3 shades of Rowan Hemp Tweed on the bottom of both front and back accompanied by a cable pattern.
Welsh is a long cardigan with pockets on both fronts. It is showing different cable and textured patterns.
Faroe is a mens tank-top knitted in a slip-stitch pattern using 2 shades of Rowan Hemp Tweed.
Gotland is a raglan sleeve sweater showing a textured pattern instead of a rib pattern on the edges.
Next time I will show you the design I have knitted in Rowan Hemp Tweed.
What a beautiful collection! I love the cabled hoodie, really stunning. I wonder which one you chose to knit.
