“This Simple Shapes brochure would perhaps be better named as Playing With Shapes as all the designs take scarves and shawls beyond the boring rectangle!”
This collection of 8 designs by Sarah Hatton caught my eye immediately. First because I love both yarns used in this collection Rowan Fine Art and Fine Lace. Both yarns are so versatile and lovely to knit with and in my opinion both yarns are underestimated. Therefore I was also really happy to see Dervla a design by Lisa Richardson in the Rowan Knitting & Crochet Magazine 58 using Fine Art. Second because Sarah Hatton not only used simple stitches but also played with shapes and encourages everyone to go off the beaten path.
I love this series of Simple Shapes and this time I will knit some designs of this brochure for sure.
Let’s have a closer look to the designs now.
