Super blog! I love it! finally some guy who not only knits (at school) but even loves it! Please contact me if you are looking for a KAL with an Austrian knit-a-holic. 🙂
Thank you so much for the invitation. Please let me know what you have in mind. Contact me via my email address, provided on my blog. But I guess I will have time for another KAL in October.
Love your knitting blog ❤
Thank you so much!
So glad to have located you. I have a question regarding your Francisca Hat pattern. The pattern is in my Winter 2011 Knit Scene Magazine. (I never throw out important things.) My granddaughter for whom I would knit this hat is allergic to angora, not to wool. Would you recommend a substitute yarn for this pattern?
Thank you, and I look forward to your response.
Hi Mariantonia, you may use Rowan Baby Merino Silk DK or Rowan Pure Wool DK or Rowan Alpaca Colour for this pattern.
Thank you; I appreciate the quick response.
Hi Konrad
Quick question did you knitted a cabled border around one of your blankets and if so how did you do it?
Many thanks
Nikki
Hi Nikki,
yes I have knitted a cabled border around the PWW blanket, designed by Martin Storey. I simply followed the instructions.
I knitted the border separately and straight and sew it in place easing it around the corners.
There are other possibilities, like knitting a mitred corner or knit in on as you go.
Thank you so much for following my blog,
Konrad
Thats great. Thanks for your help.
Love
Nikki
You are so very welcome, Nikki
