Yesterday I visited the 4th Backnanger Wollfest. Although I promised to shout a lot of pictures I didn’t have enough time to do so, because the time was filled with winding wool, chatting with lovely Heike Gittins from Made with Loops, my fellow Rowan Ambassador Ute Rehner from Heute strick ich and Renate from Wollstube Wollin.
Time passed pretty fast and I nearly missed the start of Heike’s workshop “Granny Squares” which I was attending. Lovely Heike showed us how to crochet squares, hexagons, circles and rectangles. It was so much fun.

And of course I did a little bit of shopping!

Rowan Fine Art and DPN’s from Holz und Stein

Spindle from Georg Leichtlen and rollags from Jessy’s Spinnereien
Until next year!
Fun!
Awesome Konrad! How long did it take you to drive there? I love the colour ways with Jessy’s Spinnerein. Gorgeous. Can’t wait to see what u come up with in those colours. Have u casted on? 🙂
First I have to spin some yarn from these rollags! Hope I manage to do so!
What a fun weekend! Surrounded by wool and good friends, sounds like heaven! (that will be us soon!)
Love it Konrad, sounds as though you all had a super day 🙂
Looks like loads of fun. Ever thought of having a yarn crawl?
We did have fun didn’t we? I so loved meeting you and Ute, thank you again for coming to my workshop and saying such lovely things about it all.
Let me know when you come to the UK next and I make sure to be available to meet up again.
Big hugs, Heike xx
Yes we have had, Heike. Seeing you soon in the UK!
