Rowan Knitting & Crochet Magazine 55

Rowan Knitting & Crochet Magazine 55

Tomorrow I will start showing you my favourite TOP 10 of this years Rowan Spring fashion.

And I have to say it was hard to choose. There are so many great patterns in this Magazine 55 so every single one is a masterpiece of design and will suit a lot of women and men.

So I have chosen 3 patterns from Clarity, a beautiful, feminine collection of fine knits photographed at the stunning Spanish hill top of Vejer de la Frontera. Clarity is inspired by the delicate and fragile beauty of historic and contemporary lace and Irish crochet making.

K. L. Bevan is also talking about the renaissance of irish crochet lace.

From Legacy, inspired by Old Islamic and Moorish tile art, this colourful and textured collection of women’s and men’s knits was photographed in the beautiful city of Seville I have chosen 4 designs.

Legacy

And last but not least I have chosen 3 patterns from Essentials, a collection of the key shapes and textures of trend, designed into simple, easy to wear styles that compliment the season’s ESSENTIAL look. One of the major trends for the new spring summer season are stripes. Stripes in all guises and interpretations, two colour nautical stripes through to multi coloured irregular stripes. To celebrate this trend this collection showcases stripes in a bright and modern colour palette.

Until tomorrow!
