Rowan Yarns Homestead Classics Collection published in 2010 featuring designs both men and women by Martin Storey. This rustic collection of 15 designs is inspired by the crafts and textiles of the American pioneer. Ethnic and geometric intarsia, folkloric textures and homespun cabling contrast with more simple, stocking stitch designs.
The photos were shot at Peasenhall, Suffolk.
The designs are knitted using Rowan Alpaca Cotton (Cotton: 28%, Alpaca: 72%), Lima (Merino Wool: 8%, Baby Alpaca: 84%, Nylon: 8%) & Baby Alpaca DK (Baby Alpaca: 100%).

Ooh, the sweater is finished! Lovely in Lima. I never saw Appalachian… very interesting, my kind of pattern.
Yes this is a kind of pattern you love, like the Kilim Wrap from Mag 54! 😉
You made two beautiful sweaters. I can’t believe Noah is done already. That cable knot is a masterpiece of knitting.
