
Last week the Rowan Team has published the Row@n eNewsletter for October 2013.
As always they offer a free Row@n exclusive pattern.
This month it is La Traviata by Martin Storey. Using Rowan Fine Lace (Baby Suri Alpaca: 80%, Merino Wool Fine: 20%) and Kidsilk Haze (Super Kid Mohair: 70%, Silk: 30%)
The front cover is featuring Balkan another free pattern originally published in Rowan Knitting and Crochet Magazine 54. This design is by Brandon Mably. This design is knitted in Rowan Colourspun (Wool: 72%, Mohair: 14%, Polyamide: 14%).
Autumn Launches…
Rowan Yarns has launched 4 further new yarns for this season.
Firstly they introduced the big brother of her Fine Art Premium Sock Yarn – Fine Art Aran.
Fine Art Aran (Wool: 50%, Mohair: 20%, Silk: 5%, Alpaca: 25%) comes in 8 stunning new colours all named after dances.
Available in 8 colour rich shades, this yarn will be available from mid November.
Alongside this Rowan will be the launch of six new blended shades of Rowan Fine Art (Wool: 45%, Mohair: 20%, Silk: 10%, Polyamide: 25%) . Available from mid October.
Also brand new for October will be two new super kid mohair yarns.
Kidsilk Amore (Mohair: 70%, Silk: 30%) and Kidsilk Amore Shimmer (Mohair: 66%, Silk: 27%, Polyester: 4%, Nylon: 3%). Both available in four decadent shades.
And finally, there will also be a dedicated design collection. Inspired by the indulgence of the yarn, the collection boasts eight on trend designs from Lisa Richardson.
