Rowan Design Awards 2013
this year was for the first time executed with the students of Westminster College of Art and Design.
“Between the Wars” was the theme which was set by Rowan Head Designer Marie Wallin. She asked the students to concentrate on the traditional stitches, colour and garment detailing of the 30’s and 40’s of the last century.
The final six selected designs are shown her and in the Rowan Knitting & Crochet Magazine 54. Hopefully these designs will encourage you to look at vintage pattern in a new light.
