Knit this design by Marie Wallin in Rowan Panama (Linen: 12%, Cotton: 33%, Viscose: 55%). The arms of this short sleeved jumper are knitted simultaneously with the front and back, so sewing in sleeves is not necessary. A k1, p1 pattern forms the hems and cuffs, stockinette stitch is used throughout the rest of the pattern. The crocheted flowers are sewn on after finishing the garment.
I love this pattern for it’s pure elegance. Panama is a great yarn to knit with and it produces a garment with a fantastic drape. If you do not like to wear cropped designs, this one is easily to be lengthened and if you want to keep it more simple, just skip the flowers. It will still look great.

Stricke dieses Modell von Marie Wallin in Rowan Panama (Linen: 12%, Cotton: 33%, Viscose: 55%). Die Ärmel werden hier durch Zunahmen geformt und an Rücken und Vorderteil gleich mitgestrickt. So entfällt das Einsetzen der Ärmel komplett. Eins rechts, eins links (aber keine fallen lassen) ist das Muster, welches die Bündchen formt. Glatt rechts wird der Rest gestrickt. Die gehäkelten Blumen werden zum Schluss angenäht.
Ich mag dieses Modell besonders, weil es eine schlichte Eleganz ausstrahlt. Panama ist ein großartiges Garn. Das Strickstück hat einen fantastischen Fall. Wenn Sie kurze Modelle nicht gerne tragen, diese hier kann einfach in der Länge einfach angepasst werden und wenn Sie es schlichter mögen, dann lassen Sie die Blumen weg. Es wird trotzdem hervorragend aussehen.

I have bought the yarn and when I have finished ‘Alda’ from Rowan magazine 57, then I can start with Eloisa. I’m very curious about the flowers. I usually don’t crochet.
