Knit this design by Lisa Richardson using seven shades of Rowan Fine Tweed (Wool 100%). This mens sweater is featuring a tartan pattern, which is knitted using intarsia technique on front and back. The sleeves and the saddle shoulder are knitted in a stunning cable pattern.
I do love this sweater for using the traditional spun Fine Tweed yarn, which is incredible soft. I do love it, because it is a challenge to knit. The fine yarn, the intarsia technique and the cable pattern will make this a project you never get bored with knitting it and you will never get bored with wearing it!

Ich liebe dieses Design, weil es mit dem traditionell gesponnenen Fine Tweed gestrickt wird, welches unglaublich weich ist. Ich liebe es auch, weil es eine Herausforderung darstellt. Das feine Garn, die Intarsia-Technik und das Zopfmuster lassen beim Stricken keine Langweile aufkommen und beim Tragen des Pullovers ganz sicher auch nicht!

I would use the same colours, maybe changing the shade of the sleeves to Tissington or Bainbridge!

So glad u r making it Konrad. I loved it when we saw it at the MIll. The sleeves are even more exquisite in person than the photos show.
So that will be two awesome sweaters you will be knitting soon. Looking forward to seeing the in progress pictures, and all the work going back at the back.
