Yesterday Rowan Yarns has published the third clue for the Pure Wool Worsted Knit-A-Long with Martin Storey. This weeks pattern is called Heirloom Lace and is an easy to remember lace pattern. Rowan Yarns provided this pattern only written. I have done a chart (for those who are chart addicted, see at the end of this post).
Viovioletta has translated the pattern in Spanish language. Isn’t that great. Martin suggested Raspberry and Hawthorn for this third 6 squares.
And there is a YouTube video with Martin himself giving you more information about this week’s square design. Here are the shades I selected for this third pattern:
Because of the lace pattern I go down with my needle size to 3,5mm needles! And I managed to knit 1 of these squares in about 1 hour and so I finished them last night.
Are you ready for the Rowan Pure Wool Worsted Knit-A-Long? There is no hurry! Week 1 Week 2
Week 3 – Heirloom Lace – Chart
Happy knitting until next time for the fourth clue.
Konrad, May I ask, do you have a computer program to write up a chart? If so, what is it called, please? Thank you.
Hi Celia, you may look here:

Thanks for the chart!!!
The chart is great to have! I’m using Raspberry too in my afghan and it’s my favorite color; a happy spot of bright in all my neutrals! What else are you knitting??
I’m working on the Boteh Shawl from Jane Austen Knits 2013.
Love all the bright colors, I’m getting very impatient to see them all linked together. Have to wait 5 weeks, waaaaa!
hello ! thank’s for this great chart, I’ve printed it and it’s so usefull ! … Maybe I’m wrong but I think the stitch at the beginning and at the end of the purl row 8-10-12 … should be “knit” … 🙂
You are right, I have forgotten the edge stitch on this rows!
I have updated the chart. Thank you for telling!
