The Jet Set
Stripes are on trend in this season. Patty Lyon clever uses alternating stockinette stitch and mesh-lace stripes to follow this trend. The arms grows out of the body for a dolman shape, the sleeves are sewn on to the body during finishing. This is really fresh and lovely looking design. It is knitted using Summer Breeze (50% linen, 45% cotton, 5% polyamide) from Mango Moon.
Knitable in 5 sizes from 36″ (91,5cm) to 52″ (132cm)
In this design I love the upper part, the cap sleeves and the eyelet-detail are superb. But for my taste there is to much mesh below, maybe shorten it a little bit? It is worked in Cotton DK (100% cotton) from Debbie Bliss/KFI. And skip that cowl, ok!
Knitable in 4 sizes from 31″ (78,5cm) to 38″ (96,5cm).
Sweet little T. Flattering shape and supporting mesh pattern on front and back. A versatile piece you can wear every day. It is knitted in Blue Sky Alpacas’ smooth Skinny Cotton (100% organic cotton).
Knitable in 4 sizes from 32″ (48,5cm) to 43″ (52,5cm).
This cropped cardigan is beautiful. The diamond lace pattern is lovely and fresh. The contrasting black frontbands following the monochromatic trend are new-fashioned. It is worked in Knit One, Crochet Too’s Babyboo (45% bamboo, 55% nylon).
Knitable in 3 sizes from 34″ (86,5cm) to 42″ (106,5cm)
A very relaxed pullover, you will wear every day. Simple yet stunning. Worked in Seda-Mar (88% silk, 12% nylon) from Schulana/Skacel Collection.
Knitable in 4 sizes from 35½” (90cm) to 46″ (117cm).
Well this is a piece you will knit once and never again, and you will wear it once and never again. Maybe you stare at it in abstraction like I do, but finally skip the desire to put tons of workload in this piece for one single moment. It is knitted using Cascade Yarns’ Heritage Silk (85% merino super wash wool, 15% mulberry silk).
Knitable in 1 size 32″ (81,5cm) bust.
Drama baby, Drama, that’s it. Maybe it is the colour (looks like a piece you wear at a funeral) or it are the drop shoulders (reminding me on “Dynasty”). The pattern is lovely, though. It is worked in Flax (100% linen) from Fibra Natura/Universal Yarn.
Knitable in 5 sizes from 38″ (96,5cm) to 52″ (132cm).
This design is beautiful and the zipper closure is so much fun on this jacket. Great design from Ann Regi. It is worked in Schachenmayr Original’s Cotton Time (100% cotton). And have a look on these pockets!
Knitable in 5 sizes from 32½” (82,5cm) to 48″ (122cm).
designing Woman – Tanya Taylor

Finished measurements 8 x 65″/20,5 x 165cm.
This standard-fitting tunic is also a lovely little piece you won’t miss in your wardrobe. The “graceful wing lace pattern, which creates an overall lengthening effect (Christina Behnke)”. It is knitted in Artyarns’ Regal Silk (100% silk).
Knitable in 5 sizes from 34½” (87,5cm) to 54″ (137cm).
The sleeves of this T are “growing” out of the body a lace pattern and stripes in 3 shades of Rowan’s Kidsilk Haze (70% super kid mohair, 30% silk) completes this wearable design.
Knitable in 5 sizes from 36″ (91,5cm) to 50½” (128cm).
Now, I’m biased, when it comes to lace. I love it. That’s it. So…..
The above design is knitted in Jade Sapphire Exotic Fibres’ Sylph (58% cashmere, 42% linen).
Finished measurements 7 x 60″/18 x 152,5cm (blocked).

Now this is what I call a piece of art. Put it in a showroom and look at it but don’t wear it, you get tangled up with the furniture! Don’t get me wrong I love this idea but it is simply unpractical.
Shown her in Berroco’s lightweight Weekend Chunky (75% acrylic, 25% cotton).
Knitable in 3 sizes from 33½” (85cm) to 40½” (103cm) bust size.
Colour-Block Punch!
“A rolled edge defines the drop waist (Christina Behnke)”, skip this and the dress will look good. I love the skirt and the colourblock detail on top. It is knitted in Brilla (58% viscose, 42% cotton) from Filatura di Crosa/Tahki Stacy Charles.
Knitable in 3 sizes from 33″ (84cm) to 36½” (92,5cm).
A wearable design, simple and stylish, love the eyelet detail on the raglan armholes. I would have chosen other colours of Dolcino (75% acrylic, 25% nylon) from Trendsetter Yarns.
Knitable in 4 sizes from 37½” (95cm) to 49″ (124,5cm).
“A carefree day deserves a casually chic knit. (Christina Behnke)”. Nothing to add, great colours, simple shape, a top for every day, knitted using Tencel Tape (100% tencel) from Prism.

This design in brilliant colours is knitted in different lace pattern using intarsia technique separated by stripes of stockinette stitch. The side seams of this long vest are only seamed for about 2″ (5cm) the rest is unseamed. Very relaxed and extraordinary. It is knitted in three shades of Pearl (51% silk, 49% bamboo) from Lorna’s Laces.
Knitable in 5 sizes from 33″ (84cm) to 49″ (124,5cm).
Nice, simple, interesting, knit it in Kolláge Yarns’ Milky Whey (50% milk, 50% soy).
Knitable in 4 sizes from 33″ (84cm) to 39″ (99cm).
The textured fabric of Jeannie Chin’s patchwork pullover drapes just so in Brown Sheep Company’s Cotton Fleece (80% cool cotton, 20% resilient wool). Each stitch pattern – bamboo, trinity, spine and granite relief – is worked in one of the four colours, throughout the intarsia body and striped sleeves. The wide crew neck and modified drop shoulders effect a sweatshirt shape. Twisted rib defines the collar, cuffs and vented hem.
Front and back of this pullover are work in intarsia technique. The different patterns adds interesting structure to this garment. I like it. It is knitted using Brown Sheep Company’s Cotton Fleece (80% cool cotton, 20% resilient wool).
Knitable in 5 sizes from 34½” (87,5cm) to 51½” (130,5cm).
Cool comfort
A nice, wearable hoodie, with an interesting pattern. The colours are beautiful chosen. Great: the vents at the elbows and lower hems and the pocket.

I love this hooded raglan pullover design! It has great lace cables on front and back. The kangaroo pockets complete this design. It is knitted using Koigu Wool Designs’ soft Kersti Merino Crêpe (100% merino wool).
Knitable in 5 sizes from 35½” (90cm) to 51½” (130,5cm).
Well, the mesh is to much, really! A great idea with the zipper closing is spoiled with this meshy lace. It is knitted using Anna (70% imperial wool, 30% U.S. cotton) from Imperial Yarn.
Knitable in 6 sizes from 33″ (84cm) to 52″ (132cm).
This is elegance! Subtle A-shape, subtle eyelet pattern, subtle colour. Très chic! It is shown here in Bergereine (50% combed wool, 50% cotton) from Bergère der France.
