Rowan Yarns has published Rowan studio issue thirty two. This issue is bringing back the feeling of the “swinging sixties” and uses a monochrome palette for a modern touch.
All of the designs are named after great singers of the sixties. So let the beat go on…

Shirley is knitted in a stripe sequence in reverse stockinette stitch. This off the shoulder sweater is knitted in Rowan Yarns Handknit Cotton. This knitting pattern is suitable for beginners.

A tip for those who don’t want to knit in a monochromatic palette. Both yarns featured in Rowan Yarns studio issue thirty two are available in a wide range of shades. And if you want to knit them in the shades of the sixties, here are the colours of year 1965 which are inspired from outer space.
